Nice size room, spotlessly clean. Soundproofing must be excellent as heard nothing from our room. Friendly staff although staff slightly slow at 9am but overall were excellent. Great location and fairly priced.

Great Premier Inn, in a convenient location. A bit busy when we arrived so we're left to it, and had to use the auto check in facility. The breakfast was great but again the staff were busy as it was a busy weekend. The coffee machine was broken so that was a bit unfortunate. However the staff kept smiling and tried their best. The events were not their fault, so I would use the Premier Inn Southwark again.

Rooms good, staff helpful but not enough of them and let down by faulty equipment. We wasted over an hour waiting for key card to be changed on multiple occasions as it repeatedly didn't work or only worked once. 2 coffee pods for a 2 night stay and none available when we asked at reception.

Highly recommended! Nice, quiet and conveniently located hotel. Great spot to explore London and especially Bankside. Clean and freshly refurbished rooms. The team is fantastic- they helped me to get forgotten reading glasses back! I realised I've left them after I returned home.

Got charged twice for my room and no email confirmation or explanation to say why the second payment was made!! So check your bank statements incase this happens to you! I paid online when I made my booking which was fine, had my stay in September and then 4 weeks later I get a notification from my bank to say I spent £X at this Premier Inn, even though I was out at the time and did not make any additional reservations with them. Rang the hotel, they said I had to ring head office. Finally got through and the lady said even she doesn’t know why the additional payment was taken either. I eventually got my money back but what made me laugh was the reason for refund on the email, it said “as a good will gesture”- even though it was an error on their part. So moral of the story, check your bank statements to make sure you didn’t get charged twice cos they won’t notify you!

We had a great stay as the location is great near the tube. Also has a sainsbury and tesco and costa right next door for all your last minute grabs. The rooms were nice and clean but there is no fridge or safe so nowhere to store valuables and no where for medical items that needed the fridge or milk for the tea. There is a teabags but a nice touch is you can grab more from the reception as you need. The family room was the same size as the twin room. It just had 4 beds pushed together with little space would have asked for 3 and 3 if we had realised. The beds were comfortable and good sleeps TV was ok yes only free channels but you don't usually come here to sit in a hotel room and watch TV. There was shower gel and hand wash in the room which was adequate. The staff were friendly at breakfast. I would stay here again .

Air conditioning kept coming on during both nights we stayed even though we had switched it off, also you could hear funny scrambling noises coming from the vent. Breakfast staff were really friendly unlike the reception staff who was very offhand.

If your work or you can afford the 'plus' room, it's worth it: Nespresso machine, mini fridge, and quiet. Good location, great room; the only (minor) criticism is when you can't find staff members but much of it is automated.
